A first for the ABC islands
For the first time, resorts on the ABC islands can have their social responsibility certified via MVO Nederland. Kunuku Man Recycle supplies the figures and guides the process.
The basics
CSR stands for Corporate Social Responsibility (in Dutch: MVO, Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Ondernemen). It means your organisation consciously takes responsibility for its impact on people, the environment and society: People, Planet, Profit. A certificate makes that commitment objective and demonstrable. The international guideline behind it is ISO 26000.
Good working conditions, local employment and involvement in the community around your resort.
Cans, glass and plastic bottles separated and recycled, more careful use of water and energy. Better for land and sea.

Via MVO Nederland
MVO Nederland has more than 2,000 affiliated entrepreneurs. Those who join show they are part of the movement towards a sustainable economy and gain access to knowledge, tools, events and a community. For a formal, independently audited certificate there is also the MVO Prestatieladder (based on ISO 26000), which shows in five levels how far your organisation has come.
More and more travellers choose a stay that is demonstrably sustainable. A certificate makes that visible.

Schedule an introductory meeting and join the MVO Nederland network.
Demonstrate your commitment with the reports from the portal and receive your CSR recognition.
Show guests, partners and staff that your resort chooses clean, green and circular ABC islands. With the narrowcasting screen in your lobby, everyone sees the latest figures.
